Alvernia is excited to invite you to the new Fall 2024 event series on fostering civil discourse. These events, which will be held in Francis Hall Room 402, are aimed at encouraging constructive conversations about controversial topics. In today's polarized world, engaging in meaningful dialogue about issues that divide us is becoming increasingly challenging. However, by creating a space for a respectful exchange of ideas, we can bridge divides and work toward shared understanding and solutions.
Each event will feature facilitated small discussions led by experienced moderators. Participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, ask questions, and engage in constructive dialogue around the chosen topics. Refreshments will be provided.
Please save the following dates, and if you have a class during the events, please bring them along.
