Biography
I am the Director of the John R. Post School of Engineering and an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics at ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥.
Previously, I was an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the division of Engineering, Business, and Computing at Penn State Berks with a joint appointment as an Associate Professor of Kinesiology in the division of Science. Here, I also served as University Faculty Senator and Chair of the Academic Integrity Committee.
My teaching interests include engineering dynamics, statics, and computer programming. My research is in Biomechanics, including the application of machine learning in the field. Much of my work has been in building and testing low-cost data collection devices for Biomechanics.
I earned my Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from the Pennsylvania State University in August 2013. My research is mainly in the fields of human dynamics and time series analysis. In August 2007, I earned both my M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, I minored in both Mathematics and Engineering Mechanics. In 2008, I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in Pennsylvania and became an “Engineer in Training.â€
