Below is a letter that was shared with the ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥ community on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
Dear ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥ Community,
Each spring, our campus locations begin to hum with new life. The sunlight lingers a little longer, laughter spills across our walkways, and signs of renewal greet us in quiet, powerful ways. Spring offers us not just a change in season, but a moment to breathe—to reflect, to reconnect, and to contemplate beautiful things in this life.
This season also encourages us to remember who we are as a community. Saint Clare of Assisi teaches us, “Let the love you have in your hearts be shown outwardly in your deeds.†At ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥, we are people of care, compassion and love. And together we celebrate hope for a bright future as reflected in this season’s sacred observances of Easter, Passover, and Ramadan. The convergence of these sacred days reminds us of our shared human experience of renewal and transformation.
Let us carry that hope forward in our lives, our work, and our love for one another.
With best wishes for a bright and hopeful spring,
Glynis A. Fitzgerald, Ph.D.
