Post a Job or Internship

The ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥ Office of Career Development uses , a career management system, to connect employers with students and alumni. To participate in recruiting at ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥, it is required that you register your company on Handshake. If you already use to recruit at other colleges or universities, a new account is not necessary. However, your organization will need to request approval from ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥. See the Career Development Recruitment Policies document for further instructions.

Recruiting Events and Programs

Career Development facilitates connections between employers and students on campus and virtually through on-campus information tables, targeted recruiting events, and program collaborations with employers. Contact career.development@alvernia.edu or call 610-790-2878 to learn more about recruiting ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥ students and alumni.

Internships

Internships provide students with practical knowledge of professional environments within their majors. They are an invaluable way to gain work experience required by employers in a competitive job market.

The Career Development Office assists students in researching and applying for internships, but students must meet with their academic advisor to discuss the specific major academic requirements and to obtain any required forms before applying for credit-bearing internships. Approval of internship opportunities occurs between the student and their academic department.

Please view the Career Development Employer Internship Guidelines and ÃÄÄïÖ±²¥ Recruitment Policies (available in the Career Development Office) for additional information about guidelines for internships.
