Bio:


Timothy J. Daley is the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Berks County. He has been with the agency for 10 years overseeing the daily operations and providing modest income families with homeownership opportunities. Recently, he has secured over $1.6 million in tax credits and funds to support the Buttonwood Gateway Project, housing renovations and neighborhood projects throughout the City of Reading.


Prior to Habitat for Humanity, Tim spent over 20 years in the criminal justice field as the Criminal Justice Program Director for the 23rd Judicial District of Pennsylvania; Director of Safety and Security, Chester County Intermediate Unit; Safe Schools Coordinator, Reading School District; and Supervising Sergeant, Reading PA Police Department. He co-founded and served as Vice President of New Century Solutions, Inc., a safety and risk management consulting firm. During this time, Tim co-authored 鈥淭he First 30 Minutes鈥 and 鈥淐risis Response for Children Home Alone鈥. Tim鈥檚 experience has led him to testify before the United States Congress and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, as well as lecturing college students and making presentations at State and National conventions. Tim is a member of Alpha Sigma Honor Society and was elected three times as a representative for the National Criminal Justice Association.


Tim graduated from Holy Name High School and earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in criminal justice and a Pennsylvania teaching certificate from 媚娘直播 University. He is a guest lecturer for the Criminal Justice department; served 10 years on Alumni Council; member of the Criminal Justice Curriculum Review Committee and currently serves as a member of the President鈥檚 Advisory Council.
